It would be great to have a Bible study forum on here. The group could discuss particular book's of the bible, study, comment, really have some great teaching and learning going on.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't think that is a good idea without strict supervision it would be easy for false teachings to be promoted in such threads as there are many false teachers who would love to promote their beliefs under the guise of "Bible Study".It would be great to have a Bible study forum on here. The group could discuss particular book's of the bible, study, comment, really have some great teaching and learning going on.

The issue with having a Bible study forum for all Christians is that I think we would end up having more debates on theology and interpretations and it wouldn't really be beneficial.
Besides the Daily Devotions forum, you can also try posting your thoughts on the Bible in these forums-
Christian Communities (I would stick to the one that your faith icon represents)
Faith Groups (I would stick to the one that your faith icon represents)

We've had that for years. It's called Exposition & Bible Study: www.christianforums.com/f235
It's been beneficial, I think, but not very popular (perhaps because it's hidden away).
Over the years, we've had Bible Studies on, for example, the book of Ephesians (www.christianforums.com/t7710459) and on Christmas (www.christianforums.com/t7708631) and (elsewhere) on the Lord's Prayer (www.christianforums.com/t7813118).
