  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You're not answering. Why do we have detailed information about what was before day one? We have remains from settlements and social structures. We have fossils. We see starlight. Geological features. Genetic information. So on and so forth.

The amount of information about what happened is extraordinarily large and consistent. So if the world is 6000 years old there's about 13.7 billion years worth of history BEFORE that point.

Why? Did and does God lie AV?

I'd say so. Though I think we disagree on what the corruption seen is. I see it in your interpretation and I have pointed out that it is even inconsistent when one looks at the bible alone, and you insist you see it in my interpretation. Yet I am yet to see any justification for that apart from fear. And:
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18)

You're saying I mock God? Come now! Stop that nonsense - I'm not the one calling Him a liar, but I think you are. Answer my question. If you're going to quote scripture, do so with something of relevance AV.

If God had made Adam with a scar and with memories of events that never happened, such as a childhood and whatnot, would not this be a lie if Adam was created as an adult?
Would it not be deceit?

Why would God make a world which with every fiber of it's being tells us is billions of years old, a world with ruins of human abodes that never existed fossils of ancient creatures which never existed and craters from impacts that never happened? Why would He make other planets with many similar traces of looooong history? Why would He set forth a history writ in photons telling of planets around other stars, of stars being born and dying in novas when said stars never even existed?

AV, what you're suggesting God did is lie. It is willful deceit, it means He will have wrought something which deceives. Is that in His nature?

Sure. You neglect answering a lot of questions, ignore them completely and repeat yourself a lot.

I won't ask you to can it. I do ask you to start answering more questions though. And also; to admit that you're a human who may have misunderstood the bible. You haven't denied that as far as I can see, but you habe not confirmed it either. So tell me AV, are you capable of infallible reading?

AV please help me understand your opinion on this. Why would God create shocked quartz and breccia, (which are only formed under intense pressure and burst heat), screw with the sedimentary layers to look like something crashed into it and sort of try to cover up the crater by making it look like millions of years of erosion that never really happened took place. Oh and lets not forget to create gravitational anomaly's that look as if an impact took place and line up mass extinctions on the "fake" fossil record with these craters a swell. Oh and also lets create (or at least not cure, guess he was to busy misleading everyone ) Harlequin-type ichthyosis for some laughs. (Dont google that disease if you just ate, it effects newborn babies.) You would call this sort of creator benevolent?
