Haven't been to much live stuff so far, but a very recent Cat Empire concert has got me soooo into live music. It was like 2 hrs of moshing....believe it or not my legs still hurt and it was 4 days ago!!

Man that was SO much fun! Probably shouldn't have eaten nachoes right before the show though...

The concert that I enjoyed the most was Lollapalooza '92 (Lush, Jesus & Mary Chain, Ministry, Ice Cube, SoundGarden, Pearl Jam & Red Hot Chili Peppers).

2nd place would go to "99x Big Day Out '95" (The Ramones, Cake, Blind Melon, Flaming Lips, Tripping Daisies and a couple of others) put on by a radio station in Atlanta.

3rd goes to the Summer Sanitarium 2000 (Metallica, KoRn, System of a Down & Kid Rock)

I loved Sammy and Diamond Dave. Just couldn't stand the third version of the band with the guy from Extreme, although I did like Extreme alright.

Actually, the most incredibly emotional, poetic show I've ever been to was an acoustic show by Townes Van Zandt in a rustic little place in Austin, the Tavern.....one of the best songwriters ever, he just could not shake the demons of alcohol, drug abuse and depression and died way too young.....
