OH Im jealous!!

I don't know how they are live now, but back in the day.....awesome.

Saw them 2x. Once at the now-defunct Chicago Stadium, 1993, once at Soldier Field, 1995. Both times were amazing.

Surprised that I haven't posted in this thread before.

My two favorites are Yo La Tengo from a couple years ago and the Decemberists from a couple months ago. Both were so good that it'd be impossible to choose between them.

I'm hoping that these won't be my favorites in the future, though, since Intonation is coming up, and Sufjan is coming to KY in September.

I've heard a lot about the Decemberists lately.. what's the attraction (I haven't heard their music yet)?

I've only been to one live concert so I guess I'm bias ;) but Pat Green with opening act Kevin Fowler was a blast. I bet only a few people have heard of them (especially Fowler) but they are pretty much superstars in Texas and nearby states.

Imagine a concert with a mosh pit at the stage and people two-stepping everywhere else all at the same time. It was quite a show.
