Without a doubt, Saturday October 9th, 2004. Evening with Joe Satriani. I sat in the second row, less than 10 feet away from the stage, right in front of Satch's mic. He then proceeded to blow my mind. And then I went backstage to meet him. Super, supernice guy. Just willing to hang out and talk to everyone.

Hiromi, Petra, Stryper, and The Supertones all come in second and so on.

I dont really like christian music, but i LOVE third day, and I have ALWAYS wanted to see them live

I really don't like a lot of Christian music, either, but there is one Christian guy who's playing music in the secular realm. He's really big in the indie scene. From a fellow Radiohead lover, check out Sufjan Stevens. He's quite similar to Neutral Milk Hotel, which happens to be another Christian guy in the secular music world (Jeff Mangum).

The best show I've been to would have to be Critters Buggin'. I saw them randomly at this tiny hole in the wall-- the Mercury Lounge in Goleta, CA-- in 2000. My mind was absolutely blown... Second would probably have to be Ozric Tentacles in '99, if only because I got to meet them afterwards.

i love sufjan.

my friends (who are actually skilled musicians, and one of them ownes a recording company) think that sufjan is THE WORST musician out there today.

i don't get it.

they don't like radiohead or phish either... so i don't know what their deal is.

other than that, they have good musical taste.

i saw coldplay in nashville about a year ago. it was by far the best ive seen. my girlfriend has seen radiohead and said it was astounding...i can only imagine and hope for it one day.
Coldplay is another band I would LOVE to see.

I dont think I could pick out a fav. I have seen nothing but great shows in my time.
It would probably be a toss up between DMB, Jason Mraz, Blue Rodeo and Bob Dylan.

(If you are Canadian and you get the chance to see Blue Rodeo, by all means PLEASE do go see them. I was never a fan, but my mother is, and her and my father had tickets to go see them but dad got really sick and couldnt go. Since they are mom;s fav band, I couldnt let her miss the show, so I sucked it up and went with her. Let me tell yoU I left the show a fan. They were sooooo amazing live. The energy is incredible!!)
