Didn't take you long to post in this thread.^_^^_^

Just watched Arsenic and Old Lace the other day - love that movie (love Cary Grant)

Musicals are some of my favorites - The Music Man is right up there, some really nice songs there.

especially his first movie (he was Boo Radley) - which I believe I forgot to mention on my list, but never miss this when it's on:

To Kill a Mockingbird

You read my mind. I just watched The Apostle the other night and thought it was wonderful. I cried through most of it!

And because the screenplay of To Kill a Mockingbird was soooo faithful to the book and I've seen the movie 100 x's and read the book about 25 x's - I can recite most of the lines while watching the movie! Great movie! Love Gregory Peck - what a hunk!

I remember the first 3 more fondly than the last 3. Empire Strikes Back is the best of them all though.
That's crazy talk. You're crazy. Return of the Jedi has ewoks. Ftw!

You're right about the latter 3, though. They kind of suck. Wasn't it supposed to be a series of 9?

Which is why it sucks. Stupid Jar Jar Binks too. Goodness. Now a Wookie ... ok, fine ... but a whole planet full of essentially dwarf wookies? That's taking it just a bit too far.

Of course I'm right. And yes, there was supposed to be the three original, three prologue and three epilogue. The three epilogue don't look like they'll ever be made.

Heretic!

Stupid Jar Jar Binks too.
Oh, agreed. I actually never found out: is he Jamaican? Eastern European? Coming down with a cold? Seriously, what?

Goodness. Now a Wookie ... ok, fine ...
Hmm, less fond of the wookie. He's just a Bigfoot wearing bullets.

Heretic! Are you blind? They're adorable. They're not wookies, they're like cuddly teddy bears with button noses and hugginess extraordinaire.

You're dead inside!

Hope they do make 'em. Twould be very fun to watch, even if they're sucky.

Oooh, 3 questions:

Does anyone want to watch Beowulf?

Has anyone watched Bug?

Has anyone watched The Reaping?

It adds humor without being incredibly stupid. See below.

Are you blind? They're adorable. They're not wookies, they're like cuddly teddy bears with button noses and hugginess extraordinaire.
They're dumb. The scenario they're in makes it even more implausible. You're fighting evil incarnate ... and your only ally is a Care Bear. Lord, have mercy!

You're dead inside!
Translation: You aren't swayed by things that look like beanie babies.

Does anyone want to watch Beowulf?
Definitely.

Has anyone watched Bug?
No.

Has anyone watched The Reaping?
Yes. It was alright.

Brutal. Don't underestimate them.

Oh stop being so testosteroney. They give you the warm and fuzzies. You knows it.

Definitely.
Doesn't it look amazing? I can't figure if it's CG or a mixture of the two... Sort of like A Scanner Darkly. Which was pretentious nonsense, btw.

Yes. It was alright.
Ah. Bit disappointed, then. Was hopeful.

As to Bug: Clicky. Most creepy looking.
