I think the best game of all history is the Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time for the N64.

The first time I played it through it took my breath away so many times. And I've played it over and over and over and over and over and over..... ;)

[ochoops5]I Think The Best Game In History Is GOLDENEYE For The N64. If You Do Not Agree Tell Me What you Think Is.
 I have to agree.... I remember getting N64 when they first came out over here and it came with a copy of Goldeneye. I didn't touch the machine for about 3 weeks and when I finally opened it and played Goldeneye I was hooked. For me, other than the Quake/Unreal games, this was and still is the definitive FPS. Classic....

There are soo many different types of genres of games. Here is my list:

FPS: Killzone
RPG: Final Fantasy VII
Sports:Fight Night: Round 2, NBA Street V3, NBA Live 2005
Fighting: Soul Caliber 2

Those are my thoughts.

gotta agree with the goldeneye think. I mean, that game set the standards for console FPS and since then, only Perfect Dark (happens to be by rare as well) Halo, and UT have matched its popularity and greatness.

Same goes for Starcraft, it set standards and the generic style of RTS, sure Warcraft came out before it but it could never acheive SC's popularity and gameplay. I still play that game because its so simple, yet complicated...
