I'd highly recommend a Philip Yancey book called Church: Why Bother? It really opened my eyes and changed some of my views on the church.

Just kidding, I avoid those books like the plague. I think Christians need to pay more attention to what they read and filter out the awful theology.
I like Desiring God by John Piper, and books by John MacArthur as well as apologetic works by James White and R.C. Sproul.

Most anything by CS Lewis and BLACK BEAUTY, oh and HOT SPOT and all Walter Farley's books---ummmm...AND THE BAND KEPT PLAYING, I could go on and on, so I won't

The book "Wild At Hear" by John Eldredge. It describes us men perfectly, describing our desires and wounds... I'd give it a 10.0.

I would have to say that the best christian book I've read would be The God Chasers by Tommy Tenney. It's a really good book about finding the face of God.

yeah, It's supposed to be a doooozy. My good friend is getting me a copy and I've read a brief section from it, and I can tell it's not going to be a 2-day'r. Reads like a textbook, so probably going to be some rereading and dictionary use going on for me
