I've just started Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, and I'm really getting into it. I loved the Chronicles of Narnia, but wasn't so keen on the sci-fi stuff he wrote.
Planning on getting The Case for Christ and the sequel sometime in the future.

It's Time to be Bold - Michael W Smith

I have just finished reading this book, and it's one of the best books I have read so far! In the book the writer backs up everything he writes with his own experiences. Also the book is not difficult to read and it almost feels that the writer is having a conversation with you!

Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot is wonderful for young ladies.
I highly recommend it to the young ladies.

For the guys out there...gals cover your eyes :p ...I recommend "Every Man's Battle" if you're struggling with sexual integrity. :)

Okay, ladies, you can look again.

I think it's just as important for women to read such an excellent book on sexual integrity as Every Man's Battle as it is for men, because it helps them actually understand just what it's like for men. Very eye-opening for the lady-folk, I'm told.

I personally didn't appreciate Every Young Man's Battle, it bothered my sense of the ridiculous. Resisting temptation is not so witch hunting as they make it out to be. My attraction to the opposite sex is not evil, even if it is frustrating, but there are lots of things in my life that are infuriating but still they are right and proper.

If you are looking for an answer to sexual tempation I would go elsewhere, and if your really looking for an answer, without causing to much of an argument, I would say, Who cares......

YOu might think that sounds like I'm all for promiscuity, but I'm not, in fact I'm still a virgin. Entirley by choice and not without the chance to rectify, believe you me.

Sexual Tempation is what arises when you let yourself become complacent, because it is the closest thing you are gonna get to a real emotion from a place of complacency. For me, its sitting around without focusing my mind, for others its filling their lives with busyness and vanity, sexual tempation is a symptom not a problem..... The real problem is a lack of vision, however that transaltes to you.

The best book I ever read was called, "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. This book changed my life and it's easy to understand. I use to have questions and when I read this book most of my questions were answered. It doesn't replace the bible but it's a great book for people who are confused or anyone (whether they are old or young). I recommend for everyone to read it if you haven't already.

faithful learning and Christian scholarly vocation. ed. douglas v. henry, bob r. agee.

a collection of essays from Christian professors/scholars about faith AND higher learning (and this isn't talking about theology, but the other disciplines), not one or the other, but both -- very, very cool, despite the dry sounding title. i think every Christian who's a university student, undergrad or grad, should read it, or something similar.
