I've done no pranks this year.
I did plan one years ago when I was living in a shared house.
We would often use a sink for handwashing clothes and I thought it would be a good idea to substitute the washing powder with Ready Brek. It would have given me a bit of a chuckle watching my housemate wash his clothes in porridge!
But unfortunately my plan was spoiled! :-(
I did a April Fool’s science lesson instead this year. In the morning at breakfast I used blue food colouring to turn a cup of white milk blue. I used it as a teaching opportunity to talk about chemical processes in science. I then took out a frozen bowl of cereal and explained what happened to perishable food when you leave it in the freezer. Next year I might repeat that lesson with coffee or jam.
We also did a April Fools themed reading and math lesson too.
