I think more than anything we're craving decency & honesty again, and an adult to ACT like an adult and lead.

Bernie Sanders is doing a great job connecting with my friends and I about important issues that we relate to. Bernie Sanders always has been the person to speak up about civil rights, apartheid, and religious freedom during both presidential campaign trails. So it never really came off as pandering. Even though he’s not young, he certainly understands what the youth want.”

The USA has an unreasonable fear of any policy they perceive is based on socialist principles. To many in the USA - a socialist principle means you are a commie. I cant help but think - Really? You're still stuck in the 1950's?

Healthcare is an issue that blows my mind. I'm doing my honours this year and will enter medicine the next year. I've been to a seminar where this topic was discussed. I'm blown away by the number of Americans who fall into poverty, lose their homes etc...simply because they fall ill.

My family is upper middle class & my parents have always had great jobs w good insurance but even still healthcare was insanely awful & ridiculous in the US. It's a MILLION TIMES BETTER in Canada. Also we don't have to deal w as many shootings. It's the old ppl who are on medicare who are calling medicare for all socialism!!!!!
