you see i was also shocked to my core when hearing these things as most ... but istead of letting my emotion run wild i searched for confirmation ... i looked long and hard ( i still am ) and what i found is it all lead back to one female reporter who was told by a IDF member he saw babys burned and in pieces .and in another report an Israeli soldier having his head chopped of after death .. thing is there are lots of confirmed wittness acounts ( names and face ) who are saying things which does not fit the narative coming out of the IDF .... like Yasmin Porat to throw in an actual wittness name ... happy hunting

first story fits the narative of the female reporter account which i believe at this time the 40 decapitaed babys narative sprang out from, albeit it does not say how the baby was dcapitated however it leans to the side of truth that is that a soldier found a baby with its mother decapitaed ... this to me may well be where the baby cut out from its mothers womb and then decapitated may also spring from ... so we may well have a truth although vauge and then we also may have two big fat lies which it turned into ...

second story is speculation on how the baby died ... as it clearly says the baby arived as in delivered to the man who is speculating by a judgement of the injuries sustained ... i mean there has been no story i have heard of babys found in ovens and if their was i am sure the idf would have said as much ... i say this is inconclusive at this time with regard to an atrocity ...

i dont know your source regarding Yasmin but what i heard she clearly was blaming both sides for the deaths, unfortunatly i am unable to load it here on CF ...

i am on the side of truth ... so far all these stories of atrocities are very vague .. not saying atrocities did not happen its just these stories have sent people crazy and now thousands of people especially little children are being killed and suffering horribly ... if it turns out that these stories have been purposefully exagerated or down right lies to genocide inocents on such a scale then i can only pray God crushes the head of the serpent posthaste

What I don't get about this whole thing is that there really have always been Jewish populations in and around the Holy Land, since long before the creation of the secular State of Israel (Ottoman-era records testify to Jewish populations going back centuries). I understand that the Holocaust perpetrated by the Nazis increased the perceived need on the part of European zionists for a Jewish ethnostate, but since that Holocaust happened in Europe and not to the local Jews who were already living in Palestine, why do people believe this lie that the Palestinians and Jews have been in a constant state of enmity forever? I don't agree with most of what the Hamas official said in that video (saying that you are justified in wanting to see Israel gone because you are victims only works if you are not also perpetrators, but as we have all seen, Hamas have been perpetrators of violence as well), but I can't fault him for identifying the creation of the State of Israel in Palestine as being the ultimate source of the pain, bloodshed, and death associated with the current conflict, as the current conflict did not exist until after the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the calamitous events that befell the Palestinians as a result of this. You'd have to be blind not to see that.

So I don't buy Israelis' and other Zionists' claim of Palestinians just being eternally hateful to Jews because they are Jews. Is that the motivation of hardline Islamists, both inside and outside of organizations like Hamas? No doubt. They say as much. But to equate that with all resistance to Israel is just ignorant and ahistorical. Look up what happened to the largely-Christian (80%) village of Beit Sahour when they attempted to engage in non-violent resistance to Israel during the first Intifada in the 1980s. Israel's response made that clear that non-violent resistance not at all based in Islamic antisemitism would be treated brutally, too.

Hamas et al. are a huge roadblock in the way of any peaceful solution to this conflict, but to pretend like Israel itself is not is not living in reality. The Israelis are not these harmless doves who are just sitting around doing nothing when not being victims of Hamas-led acts of terrorism.

Countries have a right to protect their citizens. War is ugly and yes innocents do die (unfortunately) What is Israel to do .... allow hamas to continue killing Israeli citizens? Ignore the atrocities that occurred? Hamas intention is to destroy all Jews ... this is the mind set of several countries ... and they are uniting in that effort.

When war breaks out .... countries take sides .... this is what allows escalation to occur.

The catalyst of escalation (what is happening now) happened when the US deployed military war ships.
