for christianity, do you have to be saved by a pastor in church or whatever, or can you just say a prayer and accept jesus into your heart to be christian in god's eyes?

No you can accept Jesus on your own with the following prayer.

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. But I believe that you died upon
the cross for me. That you shed your precious blood for the
forgiveness of my sin. And I believe that on the third day, you
rose from the dead, and went to Heaven to prepare a place
for me. I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God,
my friend. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and set me free
from my sin. And, because you are my Savior, Jesus,
"I shall not die, but have everlasting life".
Thank you Jesus!

God Bless

You also need to be aware, that being a christian on your own is a very very difficult thing. Because the "Evil one" prowels around like a roaring (hungery) lion look for someone to devoure.. Lions when they hunt singal one member of the heard or flock out and chase them down, and eats them. (there is a measure of safty in numbers)

The "sinners prayer" is only the beginning. if you don't seek other like minded people you will wither and die as told in the parable of the sower. Mt13:

The Parable of the Sower

1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9He who has ears, let him hear."
10The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?" 11He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 13This is why I speak to them in parables:
"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
" 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them. 16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.
18"Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. 22The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

You become a Christian when the Holy Spirit regenerates your heart bringing you from spiritual death [Eph 2:1] to spiritual life. Salvation is of the Lord as it says in Jonah 2:9, not something a man can do on his own as the natural state of man's heart is to hate and dispise God.

This is how the Westminster Confession of Faith explains it:

Westminster Confession of Faith

Chapter X

Of Effectual Calling

I. All those whom God hath predestinated unto life, and those only, He is pleased, in His appointed time, effectually to call,[1] by His Word and Spirit,[2] out of that state of sin and death, in which they are by nature to grace and salvation, by Jesus Christ;[3] enlightening their minds spiritually and savingly to understand the things of God,[4] taking away their heart of stone, and giving unto them an heart of flesh;[5] renewing their wills, and, by His almighty power, determining them to that which is good,[6] and effectually drawing them to Jesus Christ:[7] yet so, as they come most freely, being made willing by His grace.[8]

"All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved." However, that said, one cannot be a Christian on one's own. Christianity is a corporate thing. It's not about a set of individual Christians, but a community of people acting as the Body of Christ, living as and in anticipation of the Kingdom of God. You can't be that on your own.

Salvation has nothing to do with saying a one-time prayer and claiming to believe. In other words, Faith Alone is not supported by scripture. One who has faith WILL have works. A person must daily pick up their cross and follow Christ and endure to the end of their very life. One should be baptized into Christ for the remission of sins.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:13

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. - Mark 13:13

Luke 8:21

21But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these (A)who hear the word of God and do it."

Luke 11:28

28But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are (A)those who hear the word of God and observe it."

James 2:14-26
14(A)What use is it, (B)my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him?
15(C)If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food,
16and one of you says to them, "(D)Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?
17Even so (E)faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
18(F)But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your (G)faith without the works, and I will (H)show you my faith (I)by my works."
19You believe that [a](J)God is one (K)You do well; (L)the demons also believe, and shudder.
20But are you willing to recognize, (M)you foolish fellow, that (N)faith without works is useless?
21(O)Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?
22You see that (P)faith was working with his works, and as a result of the (Q)works, faith was perfected;
23and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "(R)AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS," and he was called (S)the friend of God.
24You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25In the same way, was not (T)Rahab the harlot also justified by works (U)when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?
26For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also (V)faith without works is dead.

Ephesians 2:8-10

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Mark 16:16

16 oHe who believes and is baptized will be saved; pbut he who does not believe will be condemned.

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:4
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Acts 22:16

16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’

1 Peter 3:21

21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Greetings.

It's kind of both at the same time. No pastor can save anyone who
doesn't in prayer personally come to Jesus themselves. But anyone
who does that may still need a pastor to keep them on the straight
and narrow (Ephesians 4:11-12, Matthew 7:14). Also, one needs a
pastor (or least some other Christian) to baptize one, baptism being
something which is crucial to being a Christian (Galatians 3:27, Mark
16:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 2:38, 22:16, Romans 6:3-5). Also, one
needs a pastor (or at least some other Christian who is Spirit-filled
and has the ability to impart the Spirit) to lay hands on one that one
may receive the Holy Spirit in the full measure intended for Christians
(Acts 19:2,6, Acts 8:15-17). Also, one needs a pastor (or at least
some other Christian who is a Bible teacher) to preach the Bible to
one and keep one in correct, Biblical doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16-4:2).
Also, in being a Christian, one should be exhorting other Christians
daily, not forsaking assembling together with them (Hebrews 3:13,
Hebrews 10:25).
