You are highlighting key phrases there. It says they were given up for worshiping and serving created things rather than the creator. Read verse 23 where it talks about them worshiping images of mortal man, birds and reptiles, which is why they were given up.

TO the contrary- nearly all Biblical translations cite similar understandings of the original texts- these translations are not arbitrary- and are done by teams of linguistic and scriptural experts.

Your opinion carries not as much weight as a Biblical translation.

That isn't what God said, but you take it that way. Paul was addressing the sins at the time, and why they need a Savior.
