I have started my own business by sharing my faith at churches. Its not enough to be full time yet, but I hope it will be some day.

But even in my regular day job, I try to take all the small opportunities to share my faith. I always (I mean every day for over 10 years now) wear a visible cross pin on my shirt or jacket. Even on casual Friday! That simple little thing is often a converstaion starter.

I totally believe if God has planted in you entrepreneurial skills to make lots of money etc sow it into the kingdom of God rather than get yourself fancy stuff that will ultimately rot away.

Tithe consistently because your a cheerful giver!!!
I have been richly blessed by God, my money I consider His as he gave me all the skills to make it all. I have become financially independant at 27 and thus retired effectively 38 years early after owning and building up multiple businesses.

You have the ability to bankroll ministries in your churches, create income streams for ministries.

Sow into the kingdom of God and things will go well for you.

Regards,
Murray

Hi my name is Peter.
My wife and I opened an online greeting cards business. It is designed to help you stay connected to family, friends, and clients in an easy, convenient way. We are trying to touch lifes by sending cards. To receive a greeting card or postcard in the mail when you least expected can really brighten your day. This business harnesses that power of giving in an efficient and cost effective way.

I run two businesses (one of them is just starting, and should be fully launched by the end of November).

Both of them involve PHP/MySQL web applications for the Internet.

I can't post links yet it seems, so I guess I can't show you :) But a Google search of BosDev and PaintedAnt should find me.

BosDev is now going on it's 6th year. I honestly feel that God has blessed me in my businesses, and I look forward to the next 6 years. :)

I own/run a large equestrian center, which now houses a not-for-profit therapeutic riding association for those with disabilities. God gave me the strength to start the not-for-profit, and it is a very important part of our community here at the farm.

People generally know I am a christian, as I am quite known to make statements regarding how various items are "as God made us", and i am prone to calling all the children who come here blessings.

That being said, we have clients of all backgrounds and all are treated with love and respect.

I am so blessed to have heard God speaking to my heart about my calling to work with children and those with special needs, and He provided the means to make it all happen. I always have to focus harder (esp in financially difficult times) on keeping my life Christ focussed.......
