  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok, don't be sad. I myself wet the bed well into my Teens. I think I was about 14 or 15. My son, who is now 15 still wets the bed (say once or twice a month). We have NEVER made a single issue of it. It's not his fault. We tried one of the "wake up when wet" devices which got him from every other night to once / twice a week. In fact I think if we had perevered with the device for another month or two he would have been cured then.

We have a wet sheet under his sheets. He has never been wet when he has a sleep over.

He sleeps VERY deeply. He can sleep in the car with loud music. He sometimes sleeps with the radio on in his room.

My take on this whole subject is, if all you have to deal with as parents with yoru teen is wetting the bed, changing sheets and some extra laundry, then thank the Lord for my Son.

My 12 year old Son has never wet the bed. Go figure. Hey, but the younger one inherited my ingrown toe nails. Bless him.
