Cool, U2 is winning at the moment by one. Keep converting them Axver!.
Yep, and they still lead at the moment, 13-12. Come on U2 fans, let's keep those votes coming!

And what's life without a little bit of healthy conversion to U2, aye?

This vote is really getting interesting!!! 13-13!!!
The U2 fanatic in me can barely stand to watch this thread. Edit: and now it's 14-13 to U2! So exciting. I know I care too much, but, pardon the U2 pun, what more in the name of love?

Oooooooooohhhhhh, are the mighty Beatles gonna fall? ^_^
Here's hoping! I'm really looking forward to U2 versus Pink Floyd in the final, and while I want U2 to win, I could tolerate them losing to the Floyd.

'Twould be a sad final though......none of my favorites are anywhere in the top 4 :(

Whoever put this together forgot some great ones, but I guess you could say that no matter which bands you put in there. Overall I guess it's a pretty good representation of popular rock music over the years.....at least Radiohead was in there and made it past a few rounds

Man, this is the first really close one I have seen! Come on fab four :)

They may be overrated but that is only because some people go so mental about them - they are still a great band. Some of the best pop ever in their earlier years and then managed to experiment, totally change their style and push the boundaries and still produce really great music.

Yeah, and U2 so hasn't pushed the boundaries, experimented, and completely changed their style. Two words: Achtung Baby.

Yeah I would have liked to see Led Zeppelin - my 2nd favorite band of all time. My favorite band is more or less unknown on these forums so I wouldnt expect them to be in the running. But whatever, I love this tournament, and props to redjosh for running and organizing it!! This U2 v. Beatles is the best one yet.

Where are more U2 voters? A one vote lead just isn't enough!

I agree with ps139 that this has been a great tournament and Redjosh has done an awesome job running it. It's been a good deal of fun ... I just hope that we get a U2 versus Pink Floyd final!

Yeah I would've liked to see Phish up here over a lot of these top 4. (I assume you meant Phish when talking about your favorite band) Don't think they would've made it far even if they had been on the list and people had heard their music. Phish is most definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I woulda voted for 'em though..... :D
