Barn owl

    We have a place near us called 'Barn owl',where we eat on special occasions because it it is '2 main meals for the price of 1'. There are plenty of barn owl pictures on the walls. Why are barn owls considered wise?

    Here around my parts, and yes we would hear of it at least a few times a-year, this interesting critter was referred to as 'The Wise Old Owl', looking past that old nursery rhyme, It is said here that owls are not that smart, ,
