3RD TEMPLE = ANTICHRIST'S TEMPLE (plans to rebuild it in Jerusalem are under way)

4TH TEMPLE = CHRIST'S MILLENNIAL TEMPLE
Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle... And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places...Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. (Ezek 41:1;43;7,10).

Since the third temple will be desecrated thoroughly by Satan and the Beast, it will be unfit to remain a temple, and will probably be destroyed in the earthquake which will shake Jerusalem (Rev 11:13). Therefore a fresh, new and holy Temple will be built according to Ezekiel's pattern (which has never been built before).

could be a temple for the thousand year reign of Christ, but could also be the 3rd temple as Ezekiel is told to give these instruction to Israel, if God was going to build it why tell the Jews to study it? I don't think there will be animale scarifice during Jesus rule as He was the one time Passover lamb for all.

The 3rd temple being defile could simple be dedicated there is a way in which to un defile the temple. I am sure you have heard of the re-dedication of the temple? hanukkah?

Those millions of "temples" are purely metaphorical and represent the Body of Christ.

22 I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. 24 The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory. 25 Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there. 26 And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. 27 Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

We are God's temples He lives in each of us and no its not metaphoric.

Christians are not composed of either earthly or heavenly "bricks and mortar". That is purely a metaphor in view of the fact that (1) there was a real "bricks and mortar" Temple is Jerusalem for hundreds of years which was then rebuilt, (2) there will be another "bricks and mortar" Temple during the reign of the Antichrist, and (3) there will be a fourth "bricks and mortar" Temple in Jerusalem during the Millennium.

There is also presently a true heavenly Temple and Sanctuary (in Heaven).There will come a day in the future when that heavenly Temple will not be necessary, and that is what Revelation is talking about. It is really important that we do not confuse and confound all these temples. The Christian as a "temple" of the Holy Spirit does not replace actual temples in God's plans and purposes.

As for your idea of "cleansing" a Temple which was defiled with the Abomination of Desolation, why would God even desire to have such a building "cleansed" when it was corrupted through and through, and God was blasphemed with unspeakable blasphemies in that corrupted Temple? You seem to forget what He did with Solomon's Temple when it had been utterly defiled.

Two different things I quoted revelation. I was speaking to the fact we are the temple of God. The Body of Christ what do you think that means? I was not speaking of Solomon temple at all. Two different things I quoted revelation. I was speaking to the fact we are the temple of God. The Body of Christ what do you think that means? I was not speaking of Solomon temple at all. Maybe you did not Here but the Greeks did defile the temple.
