#1: I'm just going to disagree with you here... But all things are possible. It's just not N.O.P. as it was during Acts...

#3: I would prefer "grace healing"...

#4: 20 years ago Baptist's were fundamental wacko's who didn't believe in the gifts of power... now in some circles, it's a common thing. Charismatic is just a term applied to those who believe in the "gifts".

There are more than just Charismatic Baptists out there,, this belief has spread into ALL Christianity...

A Closer Look at Charismatic Renewal

It has now been over twenty-five years since the Charismatic Renewal took root in the Catholic Church. For many, beleaguered by the rampant secularization of the Church and the consequent eradication of the supernatural, it held out the hope of a genuine spiritual renascence; one fostered by a renewed and ever more intimate relationship with the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, confirmed in the abundance of supernatural "gifts." Many did return. However, as with all renewals, not a few, caught up in the initial fervor and bedazzled by the promise, let subjective analyses of this phenomenon suffice, neglecting difficulties posed by a rational evaluative approach. Unfortunately, subjective perceptions can never be held as the standard of truth, if we are to make an honest assessment of the Renewal. This article proposes that a movement that has swept Protestantism over the past ninety odd years, and has made significant inroads into the Catholic Church throughout the last twenty-five, is deserving of more serious scrutiny by those who have fostered its growth and those responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Catholic Faith. It is hoped that this modest study will provide several useful approaches toward the evaluation of certain aspects of the Renewal, that a more refined theological understanding may evolve and present inconsistencies or difficulties be resolved.

what i generally hear about baptist is pretty good. more open style of sunday service, baptizing adults only etc. but what do you think about woship, speaking in tongues, healing and all this kind of things? do baptist believe in it, experience it? how is the general meaning on it?

First off I think that any denomination that is against worship is probably not Christian, this is assuming that you mean worshiping God. I personally believe in the Gifts of the Spirit of which tounges and healing are part of but not all of what is percieved as speaking in tounges is real, a church I went to where I learned about various Spiritual Gifts also stated that with tounges there should be an interpretation and there is also a time and place for it. Healing is a bit tricky I have heard of Dr verified Healings but this was usually with a pastor praying with them for healing and not a "Be Healed" type thing. One thing I would mention is that if you feel like you are getting spirtualy fed while also being able to contribute to the needs of a church and do not have any bad feelings about the church then go. Main thing would be to talk with pastors at the church to find that church's stance on certain subjects.
