Was she discussing that on her show? I think I recall her mentioning that during a call in?
Mother Angelica had the opinion that perhaps aborted babies was a form of martyrdom.

One of the reasons why I think we can hope that a baby that dies before being baptized might be saved or have a chance to be saved is because King David seemed to have hope for his son. Circumcision was the Old Testament way of how a man entered into God's covenant. When it was done to babies, it was when the boy was eight days old. (Gen 21:4; Lev 12:3) King David fasted and wept for his baby son while his son was sick. (2 Sam 12:16-17) But his son died when he was only seven days old, so before he was circumcised. (2 Sam 12:18-19) However, after King David found out about this, he stopped fasting and weeping. When his servants asked him why he was no longer sorrowful, he said, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, ‘Who knows whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.” (2 Sam 12:22-23)
