I think I am doing better than I have been sometimes but I'd like to ask people to keep praying for mercy and salvation for me, and for the impulsive and blasphemous thoughts in my mind to be stopped. Please also pray that my heart will not be hardened but softened and humble and patient, and that my faith will not fail. Thank you.

I know your faith won't fail, DeerGlow. As far as I can see, you have such an honest longing for God and keep on and on turning back to Him even when you feel these dark thoughts dragging you down. Keep it up, sister. The darkness will grow less and less as God becomes more and more to you — and He will. I'm speaking from direct experience there, so I know the same is true for you as well.

My bible study group helps a lot I think, making me read at least a few chapters of the bible even when I don't want to.

I have an idea of what you're going thru as I have schizoaffective disorder and one of the things it makes me do is have "intrusive thoughts" where I think bad things and sometimes say them aloud without meaning to.

I have remembered again these horrible blasphemous things I posted about God while I strayed from the faith and I don't think anyone saw it but the fact that I my thoughts ever got that wicked and deprived makes me feel anxious and ashamed(? Not sure if this is the best word but I don't know how exactly to describe it).
