  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Its very easy:- You just tell God what happen and that you knew you back slidden and if you feel the reason why. In short – just repent, God is so faithful He will forgive and restore you again. Remember that no sin can condemn you or take you away from God, because the price has already been paid. Jesus did a complete work on the Cross for us.

Confess and repent of your sin. Turn from the sin. Get into God's Word, the Bible. Pray and seek His wisdom and help every day.

Get involved with a ladies Bible study group if you can find one. This can help motivate you and it's really nice to get help and encouragement from other people.

Hmm, I don't think God was punnishing you. God loves you and wants you to be with him. It's a simple concept, he simply gives us what we need to appreciate his love.

Anyhow, comeing back to God... this is a personal thing... your relationship with God is between YOU AND GOD. Remember God has different plans for us all. If you know God's will you may not need to know much else. To come back to God all you need to do is talk to him. You may not need The Church or other people what so ever.

Remember you are God's child, her daughter. No matter what you do wrong, or how long you stay away, you will always be God's beloved daughter. Rush to him with open arms, he will be happy to greet you.

The way to rightiouseness is by no means easy, but it is ALWAYS THERE.

Good luck,

Benjamin Jeanotte

>>I would like to know what is the best way back.

We need to be 100% convinced that we want to go God's way and not our way.

The best way back is to be fully convinced that God's way is the Best way and the ONLY way to go. James said if we are double minded do not expect to receive anything from God. So we need to be fully persuaded and fully determined that our intent is what God wants for us.

You have asked two different questions! The best way to "return" to God is the same way you came to Him in the first place. Repentence, confession, and simply, asking like David, that He restore unto you, the joy of His salvation.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

As for a Spiritual "uplift" well different things for different people. Sometimes Praise and Worship (even if you don't feel like it when you start) will do it. Sometimes Reading The Word! Sometimes simply talking to God simply.

Sometimes, for me, Gospel Music. Especially turned up loud.
Don Potter or Kevin Posch, or for really UPLIFTING some hard core Southern Gospel.

Great advice Mr.Cheese this is the same psalm I read alot, and it truely helps.

and joyprice If you're questioning Gods ability to
forgive you, trust me he will, I felt that way myself
after backsliding. There's a poem I wrote in the
creative writting forum, It's called Walking With God.
It might help lift your spirit a bit. It is a poem
about how God showed me that he would forgive me
and make me whole again. I'll be keeping you in my prayers
