It's a sad day when people commit these despicable acts of violence against a minority group because of their look. I also find it interesting that many minority groups are blamed as communities. Basically, Muslims are supposed to condemn and apologize for what a handful of them do because basically they are responsible for the actions of all Muslims. The same thing happens with Blacks. However, you never see anyone do the same thing when someone like Timothy McVeigh or Eric Rudolph act. They are always treated like individuals, while Muslims are always treated like a group. Why are all Muslims guilty, they don't have to do anything.

Muslims I can understand; but why Asians?
In England, the "Asian" community has a large percentage of muslims. Most muslims in England are from the South Asian continent, either India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
In Canada, when a person says "Asian", he's referring to the Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc. (i.e., those people with pale skin and little eyes). To many Canadians, brown people are not Asians.
I know, I'm american :) We do the same thing here. It's those brits who are just a bit loopy ;) j/k british peoples
Actually, it's the Americans and Canadians that are loopy. Since India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are in the continent of Asia, technically, that makes them Asians as well.

While I agree that only a small minority of Muslims are comitting these acts, Malcom...the fact is, in many Muslim countries a large number of the population support terrorist tactics. Consider the UK bombers. 3 out of the four were Pakistani-British. In Pakistan, the % of people who support suicide bombing is 51%!! They weren't poor or dispossesed, from what I read about them. Heck, their white neighbors talked about how they were such nice men. One was a popular schoolteacher, I believe. So I wonder if the support of terrorism in Pakistan played some role in the choice of these men to do what they did. Fair question?

What actions of blacks are reported as representative of the whole? Colin Ferguson? OJ Simpson? John Muhammed? Wayne Williams?
The destruction of the Murrah building was a one of it's kind act. There is no epidemic of federal buildings being bombed in the name of anything. Same with Rudolph- he didn't represent any group, nor claimed to.
