According to Jesus we are to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. I do not know about you but I certianly would nto want someone to come into my town and kill everyone who is not a virgin girl and I certianly would not do it to others. If someone calling himself God came to me and told me to do such a thing I would know he was a liar and woudl send him on his way.

The Midianites should have thought of that before they conspired to kill the Jews.

If you were a Midianite back then, and you refused to fight --- (note: I'm talking a Midianite now) --- you would have [to them] died a dishonorable death.

I was 13 when the war ended and I did volunteer when I was 20 but did not pass the physical exam so don;t include me in that bunch either. If I were there and were ordered to kill men women children livestock and take the virgins back to camp as spoils I would certianly resist.

Guys --- excuse me --- did I say you were 'draft dodgers and card burners'?

It is all about attitude.

Not everyone who had the attitude of those who burned their draft cards, burned their draft cards.

Not everyone who had the attitude of running up north, ran up north.

Not quite, you see I do not believe in going off and attacking others unless there is no other choice. I certianly do not believe it good to murder those who are unable to defend themselves much less capture the little virgin girls and force them into slavery. I do however believe in defending myself and others.

Actually it seems that God allow mass murder to occur without any interference on his part. If none of the Jews fell in the battel that just proves they were murdering the other people as they apparently were unable to defend themselves.
