Blasphemy
It is considered blasphemy to insult or mock Christianity or any part of the Trinity-Father (God), Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Honest debate about the nature of God and Christian Theology is allowed, but derogatory remarks are not.

Seems to me that was just an expression of honest opinion. People who do not believe in the bible god have no consciousness of blasphemy. You are speaking in tongues to them.

Are you afraid to defend the god of the bible against moral judgment?

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there isn't and to die to find out that there is.

Hmm, which one to pretend is real just in case? Maybe I'll roll a 100 sided dice with each number representing one of the more popular choices over the last few centuries? I hope it's someone cool like Kali or something ::rolls dice::: Darn it! I got Priapus.

This is my first post here, and sorry, but Priapus drove me to it. Priapus is a great god! Happy, with...um...well whatever. Can't go into Priapus here.

Having said that, I find this question really strange. My family are lukewarm Muslims, and my husband is a lukewarm Christian. I'm agnostic. Which God am I supposed to bet my immortal soul on? Should it be Allah? Should it Jesus? How am I supposed to decide?

Add to that the fact that neither my Muslim family nor my husband believe that non-believers will go to hell for all eternity. Both sides believe that Allah/Jesus cares more about treating others with love and care than "belief," or tons of prayers.

So, should I just be a decent human being? Would that fulfill the Wager?

Or should I just go with Priapus? There's something very appealing about that god :)

I agree with your OP. But I think we need to remember what the Scriptures tell us about unbelievers and why they will not come to God.

I've heard a lot of different reasons why from a Christian perspective, so I would like it if you would tell me what you mean. I don't mean that as a snide comment. I'm actually kind of curious what your beliefs on the issue are.
