Any ideas what must guide us instead "in consideration of things at that level"?
I dont know any reliable guide.

So, may as well go with imagination, intuition, and refrain from getting attached to any 'conclusions'.

Well, the idea of "nothingness" is resistant to my power of imagination and intuition, even more than it resists logical scrutinity.

For me too. Sometimes its easier to play with logic (words and symbols, etc) than with imagination.

But that doesnt at all mean that logic correctly applies here. Maybe it does, maybe it doesnt. For sure, we are not in a position to know.

But the effort to imagine nothingness is kind of fun, even though I dont think I can do it.

I think you´ve got that backwards. "Nothingness" is a word that, to me, points to no concept. In order put effort in imagining nothingness I would first have to understand what I am supposed to imagine.

Yeah. Imagining nothing is hard. Maybe because its impossible. But the effort is interesting.

What do you consider the best, or some of the best, possible explanations for the universe, considering that the universe appears to be right for life when it seems it need not have been?
I suspect the Universe has always s existed.
There is the possibility that there are many universes, each with different laws of physics, and we are living in one which allows for life. This appear to be the main explanation.
If the Universe is defined as “all that exist” I don’t think there could there be many Universes; they would all be a part of the same Universe
