CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

right now, blues, and days of the new style of acoustic. its hard for me to classify days of the new/tree colors/travis meeks way of playing, but that is a huge influence on me.
i just recently got an electric after not having one for years and i listen to a lot of melodic death metal so my goal this year is play more melodic death metal, than what i've played.

kind of a story here.
actually none. my dad bought me a guitar for Christmas one year. at the time, music wasn't a big thing to me. but i wanted to give this a shot. then i found out how much i loved it.
then i got lessons. dad wanted me to have lessons. the first guy was alright but i didn't get a lot out of him. so he quit and moved, and the guitar shop i was going to got another guy.
his name was/is chris. i'm going to say him. because watching him play, the way he taught me, and how much the way he taught me helped me out to pick up quick, i can say he was the person who influenced me to play the guitar. he was the metal head guy. long hair, a red jackson guitar with the spider webs painted on it, smoked cigarettes while teaching me to play guitar. i miss hanging out with him while playing the guitar to be honest.
then after that, it was Travis Meeks of Days of the New. listening to the way he played the guitar fascinated me to no end. still does, and is still a huge influence.
present day influences, i'll give bands name...Soilwork, Mercenary, In Flames are the huge ones. these bands have two guitarists, so i just can't name one. i listen to a very wide variety of metal but this style is my utmost favorite.

i normally don't try to see where i'm at in the future. i predict i'll be working, playing golf, maybe married who knows.

Too funny - my first impression was from a totally different perception. My grandma used to tat (similar to crochet). So my original thought, was...is this seriously a guy who knows how to tat?

thousand dollars. i know a lot of things i could buy.
i would go. where? hmm. any place i could be able to survive if i'd walk on the planet. i'd prefer to have a space ride tho. watch all the marvels in space happening would be very cool.
