No. I haven't known many pranksters and the ones I knew/know, are smart enough to leave me alone.

We don't really date. We go places together on the weekends, but it's always somewhere different. If we have kids I expect that to change and would hope for regular date nights, but now we just go places on a whim or whatever. For example, yesterday we decided to go see the Hunger Games movie.

It was decent. I'd give it a B+. I thought it didn't do a bad job going from book to movie, but I don't think it's a great movie when I have to explain basic things to my husband because he hadn't read the books.

In February I had the flu. I felt awful.

Yeah, I've heard the flu is horrible.

Do you routinely get a flu shot?

 

[Wren]

No, that's the first time I had gotten the flu in many years. And I think flu shots are a scam. There are so many strains of the flu virus, but they only make the vaccine for one strain.

Sometimes I do lists, but I usually just remember what we need.

How many pets have you owned?

 

[Wren]

0, unfortunately. Until now, I've always lived in places that did not allow pets. My mother had a dog and later a cat when I was growing up, but they were her pets. (The dog was an anniversary present and the cat was a gift from her brother.) The dog was lovable, but that cat truly won my heart. He made me a cat person. I've talked to my husband about getting a cat, but we don't think now is the best time.

What is your favorite thing about cats?

 

[Wren]

Their attitudes. They're awesome and they know it. I also like that they are lower maintenance than dogs and easier to have in apartments, since the dogs I tend to like are on the larger side.

Is there a specific type of cat you would like to get?

 

[Wren]

Is there a specific type of cat you would like to get?

My mother's cat was a Burmese, so I do like them. But I plan to get a shelter cat and am not too concerned about breed. Though I will not get a pure black cat (I've only had bad experiences with black cats, like they were vicious monsters) or a pure white cat (I'm not a fan of white anything really; I even wore a red wedding dress).

Do you or your husband do most of the cooking?

My husband does the cooking. He's better at it and doesn't mind it at all. I do the cleaning. It seems a fair trade.
