Something that makes you think what the hell was the person who concocted it thinking. To clarify, a figgy pudding is a Christmas pudding with added figs.
I'm not too sure what an American fruitcake is though...

I'm tempted to say 'no', but this is a physics-y thread, so one must be accurate about these things...Is it melting?
Fluff? In a jar? Is it like candy floss (fairy floss or cotton candy to you foreign types)?Did you know there is a food called 'fluff'?

Have some fluff.
Looks like Christmas pud to me, and blessedly fig free.I call it Christmas pudding. It's alcoholic! And we pour brandy on it and light it, just to make it more alcoholic.

We actually have some of that in the kitchen.Did you know there is a food called 'fluff'?

So it has evolved over time from figgy pudding to soggy pudding?I'm tempted to say 'no', but this is a physics-y thread, so one must be accurate about these things...
It's not melting per se, it's just been doused in delicious brandy. That said, it's very hot, so I daresay some solid part of it has become liquid.
So... it's like when you stick a marshmallow on a stick and put it in a fire and it's crispy on the outside gooey on the inside... and 'Fluff' is permanently gooey marshmallow guts? It's like marshmallow but creamier.
It's not too intoxicating, though I wouldn't recommend driving if you've drowned it in bottle after bottle brandy...So it has evolved over time from figgy pudding to soggy pudding?
Hope it's not intoxicating, otherwise you might not be able to eat and drive.
It's bloody deliciousThat sounds good![]()
