My son loved the fact that he could push his fingers through a cornstarch and water mix, but could not *punch* through it (at best, he produced fractures in the non-newtonian fluid, which was very cool to see). You can make non-Newtonian fluids yourself with cornstarch (whatever that is...).
Yo talkin' to me?lol at punches fresh life back into it.
Do you celebrate Christmas? And if you do, what does it mean to you?
With religious origins nonetheless.Of course I celebrate Christmas! It's practically written into British law. It's more a cultural thing over here, with only vestiges of its religious origins. Obviously, it still has religious significance for a fair number of people, but for most, it's just a secular holiday (the biggest holiday of the year, but a secular one nonetheless).
In an oblique way. But then, almost every facet of British culture has been affected by religion to some degree. With religious origins nonetheless.
Does this mean you are influenced by religion?
Nope, never: they always bring it on time before the fights break outHave you ever threatened not to leave someone's house unless they brought you a figgy pudding? I think that's downright rude.
 .
.Then you are religious!

By that logic, I'm French and you're an atheist. Then you are religious!
Never was very sure what figgy pudding was, always sounded like my great aunt's solution to a lifetime of inadequate roughage in her diet.Have you ever threatened not to leave someone's house unless they brought you a figgy pudding? I think that's downright rude.

I call it Christmas pudding. It's alcoholic! And we pour brandy on it and light it, just to make it more alcoholic.Never was very sure what figgy pudding was, always sounded like my great aunt's solution to a lifetime of inadequate roughage in her diet.

To clarify, a figgy pudding is a Christmas pudding with added figs.LOL. Now I've seen pictures and I'm still not sure what it is. I'm guessing figs are involved, but that second pic looks suspiciously like the dreaded American fruitcake!

I'm not too sure what an American fruitcake is though...
