What follows in the Gospel message in its most basic form. There are often many questions that are associated with this message but all of them could not possibly be answered here. If you have further questions, please refer them to

“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

As of first importance!! The entirety of humanity needs to hear, and know, that the Gospel of God “is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. This is because in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.’” The entirety of humanity is regarded by God as being sinful, that is, guilty of violating God’s law (Romans 3:9-18, Romans 3:23, 1 John 3:4). Because of this, every person is under the penalty of ‘death’, that is, eternal separation from God after physical death takes place. In this ‘death’ they will forever suffer the torments that their rebellion against the thrice holy and just God merits from God. This includes the unrelieved ‘biting’ and ‘gnawing’ of an evil conscience (Mark 9:47-48, Romans 6:23, Revelation 14:11).

Since all people are so absolutely wrong in God’s sight, and so completely condemned, they desperately need to be made right in God’s sight. The problem is that since all people are “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1) no one can ever become ‘right’ by their own desire or ability (will or good works), neither can any man-made ‘religion’ provide this proper standing. God Himself must provide the way that men can become what the Bible calls ‘justified’ in His sight.

This He has done by sending His son, the Lord Jesus as the Christ, the Savior. Jesus lived a life that was perfect before God (1 Peter 2:21-22). He died on the cross (Matthew 27:35, Hebrews 12:2). He was buried as one who was indeed dead (John 19:38-40). He rose from the dead on the third day (Acts 10:39-41). Why? Jesus perfect life was lived in the place of those who will have faith in Him as their Lord and Savior that they might be regarded as guiltless before God. Jesus death was to pay the penalty that all sinners deserve. Jesus was raised up from the dead, by God, to show that God approved of Him as the Christ, and of His work and sacrifice.

All people need righteousness before God, only Jesus Christ, the way truth and life (John 14:6), can provide it. What must people do? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31)! Confess Jesus as Lord with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9)!

This is the most important thing that you will ever hear in this world! Come to Christ TODAY, before it is too late.
