God is going to destroy the earth completely in the end and make a new one.

But to return - per what I'm reading -the image of God can be changed by evil into the image of evil.As new beings are created by God, some in His image (elect) and some He creates in the image of evil (not elect).

Did He fail in His creation of good the first time ?

My issue with only predestined folks are saved is the seeming conflict between Jesus command to spread the good news to every nation and the doctrine that only those predestined will be saved. My question is, if only the ones predestined will be saved then why spread the gospel?

Nothing we do matters, it has all been decided.

If faith in God is good, and evil can destroy what is good, then evil can destroy this good. Why can't evil destroy the faith of the elect (since faith in God is good, and good can be destroyed by evil) ?

Because God uses his Church as a tool to spread the gospel. That is how he chose to do it. It pleases him that we work together. When an elect person first believes he usually does so at the word of one who has spread the gospel.

God speaks to us in our anthropomorphic language.

Why go to Church, why pray, why do anything?

Nothing we do matters, it has all been decided.

Why do you live? Do you like it? It's true that God knows everything about you. But as far as you're concerned what do you know?

Life is a great gift from God.

The reprobate would consider being picked unfortunate. So really everyone gets what they would rather have.

They don't like hell but they don't like heaven even more. It's the things in hell that maek it hell. Hell is full of burning wickedness.

But if they don't like heaven, and they don't like hell, then that's just saying that they were predestined to eternal unhappiness. That's literally unfortunate.

I'm a Cathtistlutherterian calvinist with nondenominational orthodox tendencies.

But, I'm a member of a Presbyterian Church.

Of course he will not love God. He has no will. He was created programmed to not love God, no? ]


Sinners do not love God because they are seperated from Him and they do not know Him. One can only know God if one hears His voice and knows His voice. Jesus taught us that His Sheep know His voice and will follow no other. Jesus teaches us that those whom the Father gives to HIM will not be snatched out of the Fathers hand. Jesus teaches us that it is the Father who gives us to Him.

How is it Gods fault that they are sinners? God did not Sin Adam and Eve did..

how do we know who is saved and who is not? They could be saved on their death bed.

Of course they don't love God. How could they? God created them not to love Him. They don't have the will to choose to love Him, right? Am I missing something?

He didn't fail at all. Adam failed and our sin is imputed through him. We are sinners.

God allowed all of this to happen and by his Soverign edict has destined all things to turn out for the good as decided by his good will.

We just trust in God to know better than we.

No fallen man can love God unless he gives them the grace to do so. I am only a christian by the grace of God.
