Paul calls himself the chief of sinners.
You are misquoting Paul here. Paul in fact was speaking of what he was. Not what he is.
Far to may people like quoting one line that suits THERE agenda.

Nobody is sin free. When we do sin, we have Our Lord to turn to.
So do you know for a fact and would bet your eternity on that? That not one person lives free from sin. Even though Jesus said go and sin no more? Why would He say that if it were not possible?

What Jesus did say is will I find any faith anywhere when I come back. Wonder if its because of our lack of faith that causes Him to think that. We can walk in belief or unbelief and doubts. Our language exposes exactly what we believe or not.

To many to reply to. Can any of the people who say we are sinner give me one scripture in context, Where God calls the new creation Christian a sinner? Fact is its not there. But please do bring what you believe God says on the matter.

Paul calls himself the chief of sinners.
After reading that scripture in context to the message I believe Paul was speaking about himself when he was Saul, a Pharisee sending Christians to their death.

No you are not. You are a new creation and all things are new the old is gone.

To many churches are still teaching from an old covenant understanding.
If you are in Christ you are not a sinner. Again because of this false teaching that we are all sinners. Is a lie from the pit of hell.

After we are converted into a new being, we are led to perfection.

Now this does not mean we wont be tempted to fall into sin, we will, more then most.

But this means we where led and did not sin by our own desire and evil hearts.

Forgiveness is easy for us , as we are led by the spirit as a new perfect creature in God.

Then after we fall into sin we see our sin and repent, but a person who never was converted will sin by there own heart and not care to repent and belive what they do is right and no wrong was done.

They are blind to there sin and think there is no sin.

Our actions prove our conversation.

If you do good things to your enemies and all who hate you and you help all who asked for help then the spirit is leading you.

Its all about if you have been baptized and converted in that baptismal.

If you never felt the spirit of God enter into you and convert you, then your not converted.

My advice after this is to surrender your heart and whole life to Jesus then get re-baptized.

When I was younger I was reading in John where the margin talked about if your heart convicts you.. you will not receive anything from God. So I got up and said "I quit". I said "my heart convicts me 24/7 (of sin...you know sinner?). So as I read for the bedroom door.. this sweet wonderful awsome beautiful voice askes "what is righteousness?" So I turn and say "ok ok, righteousness is right standing with God".

He asks "how do you get righteousness?" I answer "by believing in Jesus"... I could not stop crying. It was as if was blind and now could see. Now.. I had to search the word to make sure that was true.

So there is for me NO WAY I can EVER come before Him boldly ..that throne of grace no way in this WORLD I sit in heavenly places if I am still a sinner. My Father sees me holy sinless because He sees Jesus 1st. Yes this FLESH sins but you really believe what GOD has made NEW can EVER sin? Really search this if you dont understand. For then you start so understand when He says things like that which is BORN of GOD NEVER sins. Yet we sin.. its no longer I that sin but the SIN that is in me. I dont do the things I want I keep doing the things I dont want to do. FLESH and SPIRIT

I am a child of God because of my faith in Jesus Christ. I still sin, but that is not my identity. God is not counting my sins against me because of the finished work of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19).

We are making this too complicated. A sinner is one who sins. If you believe you sin, can't stopped sinning, and will sin in the future, then you are a sinner.

Can't say that you are not a smoker, if you know you will smoke ...but just less frequently than you did before. Whether you smoke a little or a lot, whether you just feel bad about smoking now when before you didnt,..... you are still a smoker.
It is a question of identity.

When I have a smoke I do not identify as a "smoker". Rather I say that I had a smoke. I did not have to have the smoke and I may never smoke again.

The same for sin. I do not identify as a sinner and it is not my identity (in fact when Jesus took my sin, any sin in my life does not belong to me), I do not focus on the flesh rather I set my mind on the Spirit. More over I do not have to sin and may never sin again (although my flesh may yet wish to).

Paul calls himself the chief of sinners.

.
Just to clarify.

Paul called himself that because of the way he had treated the Church and Christians before his conversion, his statement has absolutely nothing to do with him committing sin after.

Paul actually calls himself the chief of sinners in the present tense. 1 Timothy 1:15 (ESV): The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

Your sooooooo right, he does say he was the foremost sinner, because of how he treated Christians before his conversion.

Then what makes us sin?

.
The Sin nature, the Flesh, the old man.

These are all terms for the same thing.
The Sin Nature is a term not used in the Bible but it is understood to be synonymous with the Flesh.

Please explain where it says present tense thank you?

And please keep in mind the words when doing so."Even though I was once"

And heres the scripture you need to study.

1 Timothy 1:12-17 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord’s Grace to Paul

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
