I am. An Independent Baptist, to be precise.

I don't believe that threads on debate are supposed to go in this forum (I think they are supposed to go into the debate forum), although I have seen people post debate issues on this board.

I am a Christian that teaches, preaches and attends a Baptist Church, by preference. I was indwelt with the Holy Spirit in a Juke Joint as I sang the last Country Song I ever sang on the only gig I ever walked away from without being paid. I and the younger man that Pastors my SBC Church teach that being a Baptist of any flavor will get you into hell just as fast as being a Satanist. It is the Christ we must follow.

I am a Baptist, seeking to be one after the example of Mr Benjamin Keach, as should be gathered from my username and profile pic. I am a Confessionally Reformed Baptist because it is the most consistent position I have found without sacrificing Theology on the altar of pragmatism.

Why are you focused on what "baptist" you are; rather than who Christ is?

I think th1bill was the only one on here who got it right thus far.

For a lot of us "Baptist" is synonymous with "Christian" and even more so it is a way of saying Christian of consistent faith and practice, the sub groupings would be a quest for more consistency in faith and practice.
