God made us "self aware". We should then be aware of what we need to do to solve these problems.

When my son was born my wife wasn't the healthiest and had a very difficult birth (forceps needed). Three years later she was much healthier and gave birth to our daughter easily and almost painlessly (she popped out on the second contraction).

Dunno how that is relevant. What about all the little children who have been born only to die painful deaths?

@OldWiseGuy , in a post earlier today you claimed that fur is multiple hairs per follicle in a question on what is the difference between hair and fur. That does not appear to be the case. There is no difference between hair and fur. Hair achieves different lengths and heaviness on different parts of the body. Look at your arm for example. Fur is merely more hair and often of a uniform length. Here is a short article for you:

With the knowledge we have today people should be much healthier. Of course lifestyle trumps knowledge every time. Like Paul we know what we should be doing, but alas are unable (or unwilling) to do it. Even a person as strong-willed and knowledgeable as me sometimes fails to protect health.

Yes, people born with good genes and education in healthy living are not the ones I’m referring to.

Throughout history many people have lived short brutal lives not even getting g out of childhood.

We’re they unloved by God? Or just not loved enough to be granted a life they could be grateful for?

As a graduate in Human Biology with an interest in perception, I can tell you it's far from perfect and subject to all kinds of errors and misinterpretations. Like the rest of the human body and its functioning, it evolved to be just 'good enough' to propagate the next generation.

If you mean the fossil record it seems to me that those creatures were well adapted for their environment. No need to change.

Most of them died because the environment changed and they weren't adapted for that change.
