Anything that relies on optimal conditions is clearly not a perfect design.

I was going to assume that, but maybe he meant something different.
Most notably is the lack of will power to hunker down and get the job done. We give in to mental laziness. Mental energy is needed to fully realize our intellectual capacity.
It is a joke. Let’s see how it goes. If nobody marks it funny you win. If someone does mark it funny you are just slow on uptake.

Truthfully if I could, I'd rewire my brain to be a morning person instead of a night owl. Being a natural night owl in a morning person's world is fraught with challenges.
