A big tell is the sign of the sixth seal. The sky will roll back like a scroll, and God will be visible to everyone. How will we know when the great tribulation will start?
There is no such thing as " the great tribulation " only great tribulation. There are several passages that describe a time of great suffering and persecution that will occur before the Second Coming of Christ but we know this type of suffering is on going from century to century. How will we know when the great tribulation will start?
Authoritative NT apostolic teaching is that the rapture occurs with the resurrection at the end of time (1Th 4:13-17).The rapture will happen. A little later big war with Israel, maybe a world war. And a horseman conquering and to conquer.
Have you ever turned a screw? How will we know when the great tribulation will start?
Almost right.Authoritative NT apostolic teaching is that the rapture occurs with the resurrection at the end of time (1Th 4:13-17).
What does the authoritative teaching of 1Th 4:13-17 present?
I would challenge you to show me the scripture of a "secret rapture." Every scriptural reference is about the return of Messiah (namely 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians. Both of those passages make clear that his return is a VERY public event. Often times I hear people cite Matthew 24:37-38 ...and the one is taken and one is left. The problem with this doctrine is that it ignores the CONTEXT in which Messiah is speaking and in verse 36 he declares that those days will be "as in the days of Noah" It is because of this context that IMO one will be taken one will be left MUST be viewed from that perspective one will be taken in the ark and one will be left to destruction... This is a clear reference to the RETURN of the messiah to set his throne in the Temple. I just do not see any clear scriptural evidence that supports any thing outside of the very public return of Messiah.I don’t know do you have a book? Whose authority? I’m a pretribber.
Gads! On what authority do we take a verse from Daniel 7 and drop it in the NT?That is because it is found in the OT in Daniel 7:25 it is referred to by several of the prophets as well.
LOL, you do realize that over 1/3rd of the New Testament are quotes out of the OT right?Gads! On what authority do we take a verse from Daniel 7 and drop it in the NT?
That ain't the same thing, we are talking chronology here.LOL, you do realize that over 1/3rd of the New Testament are quotes out of the OT right?
Yes but when prophecy in the OT is being fulfilled, we are always told - "this was to fulfil what was said ...." Or "as it is written ....", etc.LOL, you do realize that over 1/3rd of the New Testament are quotes out of the OT right?
