Every generation since the Christ has thought they were close to the "end times."

This is just describing human nature. People have always been like this. One thing you learn from studying history is that human nature never changes. I have no reason to believe we're any where near getting close.

Well, what would give you reason? Do you even believe there will be an end of time?

Although every generation has thought this, one of them (us ) will be right! Am certainly praying for it! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

I love that verse too Newlamb. Just a couple of days ago I tried to put it in my signature, but didn't have room since we are limited to a certain number of characters--so, I just put the Amen. Come, Lord Jesus part. I wanted to put that part too about the Spirit and the Bride say come...I wish I could get a bigger signature alotment!!

What would give me reason? How 'bout the actual event it's self. Until then I will not try to guess the time, the Bible is very clear that we cannot know the time. So why even try? I would be just as excited as all of you, if it happened now. I just don't think it will happen in my lifetime, the world could go on for another 2000 years for all I know.

You know I use to watch Zola years ago. I always enjoyed him. He was always sooooo relaxed. I don't seem to get him on TV anymore and haven't seen him in years. I got rid of cable years ago so I must have gotten rid of Zola at the same time.

Yeah, Zola was super! Plus I found a wonderful sold-out on fire church to boot. What a great day! He's really upset about Israel, though, even though he knows the end of the story. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Also, apropos of nothing, I called IDT, my long distance provider on Sunday about a wierd call on my bill. The nice guy on the other end, Isaac Aaron (!), said Oh your weather must be nice and I said Yes and then Where are you? and he said Jerusalem!!!! He's a lawyer from Wisconsin who can't practice law until he learns Hebrew so he mans the phones for the US IDT on Sundays. Pray for him - he has to ride the bus all the time! What a nice guy!
