Yes we are getting close, and these people make up the luke-warm Christians in oour churches too.

This is just describing human nature. People have always been like this. One thing you learn from studying history is that human nature never changes. I have no reason to believe we're any where near getting close.
I love that verse too Newlamb. Just a couple of days ago I tried to put it in my signature, but didn't have room since we are limited to a certain number of characters--so, I just put the Amen. Come, Lord Jesus part. I wanted to put that part too about the Spirit and the Bride say come...I wish I could get a bigger signature alotment!!newlamb said:I love this verse!

Although every generation has thought this, one of them (us) will be right! Am certainly praying for it! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Those are both such strong verses. They strengthen faith so much to me. God is so powerful that He speaks to us about coming quickly. May this richly bless you.
