  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There are several considerations to think about. One, God did not create animals to be eaten. Herbs, fruit and vegetables were the original diet. However, after the Noahic Flood, the world was drastically changed. For starters, all the vegetation was destroyed

This just keeps getting better and better, lol. I have to stop reading or I'll get in trouble at work!

lol. That's hilariously wrong, generally.

That's even funnier (i.e. even less accurate).

Good grief. Where do you people get your "info?" Misinformation.com?

Eating animals is cannibalism.

Well, you are free to believe that.

No. Words have meanings.
  1. the usually ritualistic eating of human flesh by a human being

    2. the eating of the flesh of an animal by another animal of the same kind

Somehow, I don't think that will stop him from believing what he does.

Only if your argument is that there is zero difference physically or spiritually between Adam and the animals he was given charge of.

Animals are living, thinking, feeling souls.

To eat them is equal to cannibalism

This is from Dictionary.com:

cannibalism

[kan-uh-buh-liz-uh m]
noun
1.the eating of human flesh by another human being.

2.the eating of the flesh of an animal by another animal of its own kind.

3.the ceremonial eating of human flesh or parts of the human body formagical or religious purposes, as to acquire the power or skill of aperson recently killed.

4.the act of pecking flesh from a live fowl by a member of the same flock.

So, you might think it, unkind, inhumane, or cruel for people to eat animals; however, it's never cannibalism.

What do you say about a Lions eating a gazelle? He's having lunch. It's also not cannibalism.

Thank you! Eating animals is cannibalism. It's very bad for our bodies and for our souls. Must be stopped!

Using words incorrectly must be stopped, and it's time I utilize the ignore feature, yet again.

Hey, don't read any forums at work! :) You're paid to work! And I hope you aren't being a vicious cannibal, are you?
