I am less than impressed with your arrogance. do you have any concept of the sorts of qualifications some of the posters here have?

Oh my! I am sorry if I offended any highly qualified members. Sorry for being arrogant and disagreeing. I will never offend you again.

Whoa, you're right! That's an awesome point. I never thought a woman could bring out such a great point. I guess I was genuinely wrong. Thanks woman!

See even from your reply it tells a lot. Yes, you are GENUINELY wrong. You started going head to head with because of that fact with no respect for the fact that I am getting a Doctorate in Medicine!!

My mistake. I should have said logical entropy.

Perhaps you should. The same challenge stands. Logical entropy is just as mathematically based as anything else in physics. Off you go.

Logical entropy suggests that things naturally break down instead of build up. Pretty simple.

Yes. They do. That's one of the reasons organisms die. But as we know, they reproduce to get round this - this is what drives evolution.

I fight logical entropy throughout my life. I do it by gaining order at the expense of my environment by eating and breathing.

If you took the earth/sun system as a whole, you will find that the overall entropy has increased. Life temporarily succeeds in maintaining a localised increase in order, but at the expense of increased entropy in the earth/sun system as a whole, just like a bucket of water warming in the sun in my back yard will.

Well said. The problem I see with this and evolution is, if evolution is completely natural, then it wouldn't create something so complex.

We are comparing apples and oranges here. I am not talking about the fact that I can not picture evolution, or I can not see every little detail. I am saying, given the existence of a single cell, evolution would not yeild life as we have it today.

That still leaves the huge problem of the first cell.

could you tell me what your qualifications in chemistry, biochemistry, biology and physics are?
