The soul, in many religious, philosophical, psychological, and mythological traditions, is the incorporeal and, in many conceptions, immortal essence of a person or living thing.[1] According to the Abrahamic religions in most of their forms, souls — or at least immortal souls — belong only to human beings. For example, the Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas attributed "soul" (anima) to all organisms but taught that only human souls are immortal.[2] Other religions (most notably Jainism and Hinduism) teach that all biological organisms have souls, and others teach that even non-biological entities (such as rivers and mountains) possess souls. This latter belief is called animism

Is this the definition of what is being determined to be a; "soul"?

If so, maybe I missed it, but has anyone presented any evidence that such a thing exists?

Our resurrected body HAS TO BE different from our current one for many obvious reasons.

One of the simple reason is: the physiology has to be totally different.

Who says the resurrected body of the Christ is His old flesh? Absolutely wrong.

Are you talking about the transformation of the body, or an entirely different body altogether?

On Easter morning did Jesus' tomb have a corpse in it or no? What happened to the body of Jesus laid in the tomb after His crucifixion? Did it rise or did it remain in the tomb and decay? That's the question I'm asking.

Alright, transformation.
Jesus' body transformed and resurrected (in that sequence).

Body of dead Christian disintegrated and dissolved. But the resurrected Christian will have a body (for his soul). I certainly think it will not be the same as the old body.
