Yes there are 10.
So please tell us how the SDA teaches us to rest on the Sabbath?
What constitutes “work” on the Sabbath.
When does the Sabbath begin and when does it end?
How do we know if we have broken the Sabbath?
JLB
This was already addressed---it is in post #58.
You are talking in circles dude.
Here is my question -
Please tells us how the SDA teaches it’s members to rest on the Sabbath.
Here is your answer from post 58 -
We follow what the commandment reads:
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Isa 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Isa 58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
It is a day to spend with God, not a day to do secular things--but it's not a day of mourning! It's supposed to be a delight. Doing good for others. Resting from all labors and not thinking about our problems. Fellowshipping with others--but not secular parties. We don't usually cook, but we do heat stuff up. And do try to not make it a day of a list of "don'ts". Spend time in prayer and reading scripture and spiritually uplifting material. Chill out---go for a leisurely walk--just not running a marathon!
This does not by any stretch of the imagination answer the question.
We know what the law of Moses says.
We know that the law of Moses requires us to put to death those who violate the Sabbath.
I’m not asking about the law of Moses.
I’m asking how you, yourself teach people to observe the Sabbath today, under the New Covenant.
What constitutes a sin, concerning the Sabbath?
What violates the law of the Sabbath today?
Here are some specific questions that require specific answers.
Can we cook on the Sabbath?
When does the Sabbath begin and end?
Can we travel on the Sabbath?
If so har far?
JLB
I’m the first person to teach that unrepentant Born again Christians, much less sinners, will not inherit eternal life.
Of course you will not find a scripture that says only the “ceremonial laws” were done away with at the cross.
I ask you again---if the ceremonial laws are still in effect---do you keep them or are you an unrepentant sinner?
You did not answer.
As I have said before, the law of Moses has been taken out of the way, having been abolished in His flesh, being nailed to the cross.
The entire law of Moses.
I hope that’s clear.

How many times does it have to be said?? I, myself, do not tell anyone how to observe the Sabbath---
God does. Read the 4th commandment again---I see no reason to quote it once again as you do not seem to be reading what I wrote anyway. Your questions have been answered---several times.

Where is the fourth commandment quoted in the New Testament?
We know the law of Moses and it’s Sabbath ordinances have been done away with.
So please show where the faith commandment and it’s requirements are found in the New Testament.
having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
Colossians 2:14-17

THIS IS SOOOOO NOT TRUE! I've had many debates with former SDA's and not one has been able to stand up. She was acquitted in a court of law of plagiarism---they fail to admit that. The guy who defended her was Catholic and he became an SDA. None of this is true, every single statement on here has been proven false a long time ago. And as has been pointed out---you stand in opposition to forum rules.
You do realize that if we choose to report you that you'll get kicked out of here for inappropriate behavior, don't you? You do know what forum you're in and what the rules are here?
So, you're interested in becoming a Seventh-day Adventist? Is that the reason for the questions? Or are they just more of your gotchas?
I honestly don’t know what the SDA organization teaches today.
I’m looking for some straight answers.
JLB
You've gotten them but you do not read or are ignoring the answers. Useless conversation. Go back to start of thread and read again.
