Obedience is better than sacrifice. That's my starting point. Good vibrations can be deceptive. My feelings may compel me to do things that bear no fruit. Or I may prefer an easier task over the one I should be doing.



Why would the Lord tell you to watch things which trigger painful events? Do you have someone near to pray and provide support after doing so?



Given what you've shared that seems to be an ideal step. Immersing yourself in the Lord and allowing His word to wash over you and heal your hurts is really important. I didn't receive my calling until the healing process was completed and I was able to stand the warfare and challenges that would follow.



I don't watch those shows. The first spiritual gift that manifested within me was discerning of spirits. I'm cautious what I take in. I don't want him in my head. He tries with every day stuff. I don't need another problem.



I'm familiar with them. I listen to Derek Prince. I've borne fruit from his ministry. Battlefield of the Mind is the best book Joyce wrote. It's a great read for new believers. I've read it twice. I prefer to read over listening to ministers. I can taste the words and sift them through my spirit. Listening is my strongest learning method but I restrict it to certain topics. I don't want to gobble until I know what I'm consuming.



Hobbies are fine as long as there's balance. A good thing taken to excess can be bad. Moderation has its merits.



Keep doing it. Many are starved for encouragement. I noticed it when I began interacting with Christians. We're quick to condemn and instruct. But encouragement? Not as much. Having someone tell you they believe in you (and really mean it) and offer words of support and assistance is priceless. Miracles can happen. I've been apart of many.

My best friend was suicidal when we met. I was introduced to her when she returned home after an unsuccessful attempt. We met in a chatroom 18 years ago. In spite of the pain and brokenness she presented. I saw something beyond it. I wasn't walking with God at the time. But I knew how to love and come alongside someone and I did. It wasn't easy. There were many difficult moments. But she healed and she's married with a family.

I've done the same with others but I don't have the energy now. I'm not a counselor I'm a coach. But the experiences taught me the power of belief and what we can accomplish when we're all-in and won't throw in the towel. You can overcome much. Take it one day at a time.



There's a line in a song that's apropos. She said, I was learning my man while I was earning my man. That's how humans operate. We don't give carte blanche access to our hearts. We open a little at a time until we believe the person is worthy of more.

But God isn't like that. He's wide open. He'd doesn't give us morsels. We get the whole kit and kaboodle from the start. He doesn't restrain His love or presence. He's always near. We don't have to earn His love. It's a constant. You'll never lose it.

You lack biblical exegesis. Can you prove biblically that the context of Revelation 18 is talking about doctors, pharmacists, herbalists making poisons?! Boy, you guys are really blind to God's Word. The woman of Revelation 12 is CONGREGATION of Israel making up of all God's people. Started with Israel as old testament representative. And the Church as the New Testament Representative after the Cross where salvation has come to the Gentiles, (Revelation 12:10).

You need to understand that there are two churches within the woman. One is True (Elect, Wise Virgins, Wheat) and One is Professed (Unbelievers, Foolish Virgins, Tares). Both are part of the city until God judge the unfaithful external church.

1.) Verse one is talking about Elect - the measured people

2.) Verse two is talking about professed Christians - the people not measured (not chosen) by God. They are outside the temple. They are the external part of the church! This is Babylon the Great who is under judgment by God.

Not Rome. Not America. Not Israel. Not Jersualem. Nor any city upon 7 physical hills or mountains. Sorry!

Many are called (professed Christians) into the church but only few are chosen (Elect).

The same contrast is found in Galatians 4:24-31.

I have more than once looked into this, and going by reason and logic, looking at the world we live in today, I think that "Pharmaceuticals Industry" is part of massive end times deception.

Yeah, they've deceived me into believing that I'm still alive long after the disease that killed the last couple of generations before me, and which they genetically passed on to me, were gone. They deceived us all into believing that smallpox has been eradicated, that diptheria has all-but been eradicated, that poliio doesn't cripple and kill its thousands every year, and that bacterial infections are no longer necessarily death sentences as they were in past generations. Yeah, "Big Pharma" is, like most big businesses and all big governments, a conscienceless bastard, but we're better off with them than without. Me? I want a vaccine against the Rona. I don't like vaccines, but I like epidemics of deadly diseases even less.
