Oh come on. Do you really believe he was out to start a new religion by speaking against selling indulgences for cash?
I'm not even going as far as what resulted but what his original intention was.

hey that reminds me weren't oneness pentecostals into that return investment tithing thing too?

Can't answer that right now. I'm busy trying to shove my camel through the eye if this needle. Darn camel is as stubborn as a mule.

I hear we're having roasted Pope today.
I see you have a new one

Ooh, also from the New World as well! It'll go well with some Patriarchs or four as side-dishes with some Catholicos' as the garnish.

Oh those! Did you not know? They have a hidden communication device directly to God so that the Holy Father knows when to do his whole ex cathedra thing.

Don't your own bishops have some sort of cool hats? Or does the beard do the trick by hiding Chuck Norris' third fist?

True, this was a common belief in the early parts of the denonmination but now that doctrin has changed actually dramaticaly in a lot of pentecostal circles. Most oneness pentecostals now are moving to a more common theme of charasmatics and trinity pentecostals in the area of salvation. Yet still other doctrins between the groups are greatly divided.

But you don't know who's outright denying the trinity unless you've read about it or talked to someone. There are millions of oneness pentecostals. You haven't talked even to the majority of them. You can't doom everyone because of a few people false doctrins. Now that's not using wisdom at all.

What about the millions of Mormons, JWs, Mohammedans (Muslims), and the Jews? Should we give them the benefit of the doubt because they only have a few false doctrines (a lot for some)?

Come on now that's obvious. Oneness pentecostals believe in the foundational principles of salvation. You can't label them the same as islam and Judaism. The point is this watch whom you condenm because sometimes you don't know their heart, now granted they maybe sinning for staying in the denonmination but you dont know what they really believe and their reasons for being there. Every body in every denonmination doesn't believe the same way.

Yes we do. In the Greek tradition these are worn to hide our bulbous heads.

Hence why the Catholic Church has the whole "inculpable ignorance" thing.

I know about it because they are not shy speaking of what they are taught and believe. I concede that attending a single service with them would not show any indication of that belief. But when one inquires out of , thinking of joining or simple curiosity they are straightforward about it. It is not their little hidden secret.I mean the add it to their name . It's their proclamation.

So you're telling me that when a Greek cleric gets to the level of a bishop, he becomes a psychic!?

No. He simply puts on a various shade of skin colored make up so he doesn't frighten you with his appearance. And he will always say, 'We come in peace".
