Im just wondering if this is true, cause I have some kid-friendly dragon material in my household.

Are lizards (or legged snakes) basically Satan? (No, the answer is no.) Dragons in children's literature, while it may bare some resemblance, isn't the same thing. In the same way that magic in Harry Potter isn't a literal avocation for witchcraft, but rather a mechanism that adds a touch of wonder and depth that characterizes fantasy as a whole.
Have you ever tried writing a story with beasts and magic? It's incredibly easy compared to more realistic fiction. Not to mention far more fun to imagine. I doubt I could write any fiction without some kind of magic as a crutch.

It's symbolic, not literal...
You have to go back to what a dragon symbolized back then, when Revelation was written, which was not very good back then... Might be useful for your child to be made to understand that/this also...
That Dragons back then use to be something very evil, and not the kid friendly versions or "good" dragons that are in cartoons and movies or how they are represented in society today...
It meant something much different back then...
Be ready and do some research into what they were and meant back then so as to be prepared to teach your child and answer any questions they might have would help...
But, tell them that it doesn't mean the same now...

Do you celebrate holidays...? They have been (tried to be) "Christainized" just like Dragons are today, it is no different... Many holiday's have very evil, and extremely pagan and very wicked roots, is celebrating them, like putting pentagrams and goats heads around your house...?

no dragons are not basically devil but its been made as a symbol of worship and protection by many eastern religions. so better stay away from that.

Dragons are entirely ficticious creatures, it is basically the same as a serpent on steroids... Much of the behavior of the creature is the same, which represents the behavior and personality of the spirit (Satan) that it represents or is symbolic of...

That much is obvious...
It is a matter of conscience, like Paul said with foods offered to idols, if it is bothering your conscience, then, don't do it or be a part of it... And he said, not to inquire of the foods set before you, but just partake with thanks... But, if one brings it to your attention that it is meat or food sacrificed to idols or false gods, then, if it bothers you, do not do or eat it, or if it stumbles a fellow believer (described as being more immature in the Faith cause it stumbles them), anyway, it says in those cases to not do it either... Same goes for holidays, dragons, whatever...
We must mature in our faith however...

Paul was not personally bothered by eating meat sacrificed to false gods or demons or Satan, cause he knew they (Satan, demons) were really "nothing" apart from God that is, that they are actually quite powerless being subject to God, and God's will...
But, trying to get a more immature fellow believer to "get" that... It was probably just simpler to not take part or be a part of it for their sake, till they had had time to mature to being on his level... But when, and if he was all by himself, he knew of his freedom in Christ and God, and knew he could partake of anything he wanted, when all alone... However, most of the time, he would not even risk a more immature fellow believer seeing him doing so and being stumbled by it...
It is much the same with other things...
But, we are not to stumble little ones in the Faith...

Satan is called a "serpent" and a "dragon". Then we have these creatures/dinosaurs, which look like dragons, like draconian, the image of Satan, which roamed the Earth, I believe, BEFORE Adam and Eve.
