Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
That reminds me of a time that I was programming a tree sorting algorithm and when explaining in it in a different class said something along the lines of "and so that branch of the tree is explored, so the parent just kills its child because we don't need it anymore" and was overheard at that point. Needless to say, things were awkward for a bit.
I don't think it's the whole world that's upset; clearly most people think this is a non-issue. There are six billion people in the world. It's easy to point our finger at the extremes and mock them, but this doesn't mean it's an indication of society at large. Most people are pretty sane about this sort of thing.
