Are 'Antifa' and the 'Alt-Right' Equally Violent?

Yes, but this is either a loaded question, a misunderstanding or a misnomer. The term alt-right was coined by Richard Bertrand Spencer, a white nationalist that viewed his party as an alternative to the right, and further or more extreme right than that of the Republican party. As the alternate, or 'not of', but 'instead of' the traditional right party.
Alt-right is a self-assigned definition the White nationalists gave themselves. Reason being, the Alt-Right as a big-tent ideology that blends the ideas of neo-reactionaries (NRx-ers), who advocate a return to an antiquated, pseudo-libertarian government that supports “traditional western civilization”; “archeofuturists,” those who advocate for a return to “traditional values” as human biodiversity adherents (HBDers) and “race realists,” people who generally adhere to “scientific racism”; and other extreme-right ideologies. Alt-Right adherents stridently reject egalitarianism and universalism.
Such stances align with older forms of white racism, such as that interracial 'breeding', relationships, and even dialog can be, or is detrimental to a races survival, and that the survival of the White race is of more importance than equality. This is not a politically held view of the right. But since they believe in capitalism, gun rights, and other conservative ideals, they label themselves a right leaning.
BUT: Spencer insists that the Alt-Right is “a liberation from a left-right dialectic altogether.” Claiming the alt-right to be a party on their own rather than a subset of either. We have recently come to know the term, by Hillary Clinton using it on the campaign trail to label Trump supporters. Thusly, she has labeled all Trump supporters as White Nationists, by identifying Trump supporters with a term created by White Nationists to self-identify.
