  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You sure do like to argue, don't you?

What an utterly non-argumentative statement.

If Mary and Joseph was smart enough not to vaccinate Jesus, then I will be smart enough not to vaccinate my son. END OF DISCUSSION.

Does the fact that vaccines didn't exist back then throw you off even a little?

Do you let your kids ride a bike, or is that off-limits because Mary and Joseph never got Jesus a BMX?

I think Cabel has hit the nail.

You must remember that one bad case does not mean that everything is like that e.g. a corrupt cop or a mal-practicing doctor, these people are not the majority and while their misdeeds will cause great suffering in some cases, you cannot tarnish an entire group from the actions of individuals.

Vaccines are safe 99.9999999% of the time, very few people have any side effect to one
They have saved so many lives in the past 100 years you would not believe it.

ROFLMAO!!!!

Jesus didn't get vaccinated therefore I won't vaccinate my child. Classic.

You know Jesus didn't use a computer either. Better switch that gift from Satan off and throw it in the trash where it belongs. Electric lighting is also a no-no. Living in a house with concrete involved in the construction? Double-glazed glass? Uh-oh start packing! Better smash that cell-phone too. The car has to go as well. Indoor plumbing get thee behind me!.

My goodness the things that come out of some people's mouths.

Its unfortunate that your son has an immune disease or allergy to certain vaccines. But that doesn't make vaccines bad nor does it mean parents are intentionally poisoning their children.

I have a friend who is very, very allergic to peanuts. If he eats a peanut he will die. Would you say then that peanuts are terrible substances and any parent who feeds their child peanuts is intentionally poisoning their child?

I'm also allergic to cats. Are cats evil? Is anyone who owns a cat intentionally poisoning their children?

I have a friend who has hay fever. Is pollen evil? Is anyone who releases pollen (ie flowers..aka God's creation) intentionally poisoning the world's children?

Nope, nope and nope.

WHATEVER. One question, did Jesus ever get vaccinated?

I will say this again. You all are all too stubborn for your own goods. Just like me. Nothing is going to change your minds, and nothing is going to change mine. That is all there is to it.

This is a Christian forum, shouldn't we be, instead of harping on the good and bad of child hood shots, focusing on God more than all this other stuff. I don't feel that I owe one, but I will appologize for anything that you all got offended over. I am not offended in what all you said.
Did Jesus post on CF?

BTW, I often change my mind in light of new facts and knowledge. Maybe you should too.

Did Jesus use a computer? Then what are you doing. Wait, don't answer that END OF DISCUSSION!

This is the face of the anti-vaccination movement. Willful ignorance and stupidity. I'm not personally calling Brandlynn stupid, but the fact some people might be allergic to vaccines or that they contain chemicals also found in other substances is such a stupid argument it would be a disservice to call it anything but.

Actually, statistics are relevant - you have cited only one or two cases, and that does not comprise a statistic.
They also have a good chance of not being independent, being a mother and son... (Although apparently DiGeorge syndrome is usually caused by a de novo mutation, but what's the chance that a parent and child both got that unlucky?)

ROFLMAO!!!!

Double-glazed glass? How many people in Jesus's time had glass windows, full stop?

My goodness the things that come out of some people's mouths.
Sometimes, it's hard to distinguish them from the things that come out of the other end of their digestive tract.

Sorry, honey. Not the end of discussion. We're on a discussion forum for a reason. Now, I seriously hope you're just a poe because I would hope you realize that vaccines didn't exist when Jesus was supposed to have been born.

Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow. MEOW! MEOW MEOW! meow meow meow meow.

Actually, the probability of both parent and son both having Di George syndrome is Very high. Any MORON would know that some cases of complete DiGeorge syndrome is caused by the 22nd cromosone. DUH! Do some research, you overgrown bark boxes. I am personally offended that you all have the backbone to say that Di George syndrome can't be hereditary. Try telling that to my husband who has three scars on his chest from three open heart surgeries. Try telling that to his mom and then to me who could not touch our babies unless we had on a paper gown and mask and gloves. Try convincing my mom, even though I do not have that specific immune system disorder, who sat at my bedside less than 24 hours after every round of vaccines that I had and prayed for God not to take me when I havent even graduated high school. Thanks to some stupid vaccine that was lyingly told to my mom that was perfectly safe. But yet, I was about to die. Try feeding that garbage to the mothers and the dad's who have awakened to their child dead after a trip to the pediatricians office. Then once all of the above have bought your little power trips and stats and whatever other kind of junk that you want to believe, then come to me and I will buy it. But until you all have been through what all of us have been through and not be able to pick up your child on their first easter, or not be able to touch them skin to skin for the first month and a half of their life without gloves and mask and paper gown. You all are the stupid ones. You have no clue how it is to be in this position. None of you. If you have then you sure don't remember it and maybe you need a little reminder.

Have any of you ever saw your child's heart beat in his chest?
Have any of you ever saw your child on a ventilator?
Did you all get to go home with your baby after they were born?
Has a doctor ever looked at you in the eyes and told you that there was a good chance that your baby would not make it through the night?
Have you ever sat at the bedside of you child and begged God to not take him from you?

Until you all can answer a Yes to every question, then none of you have the right to call me stupid or put down the way that I raise my child and take care of him. You don't know how it is, and don't just say"I can imagine, and that is the reason you need to let some doctor use your baby as a pin cushion." Until you have been there and walked a mile in the shoes that I have just described, you have no right to say anything to me about any of this vaccination crud.

Do you understand that by advocating against vaccination in general you are endangering your own son? Any reduction in herd immunity is a danger to those with immune deficiencies such as your son. Why would you endanger your son’s life?

Brandlynn doesn't live in a world where things make sense.
Apparently not. One would think that any mother with a son who has immune deficiencies and cannot be vaccinated would be doing everything she could to ensure that everyone else is vaccinated to protect her son. Instead, she does the opposite. What sort of person does that?
