Anyone remember UncleBud?

Okay so an update here. Went to Holy Transfiguration church where I was going to try and become Orthodox years ago and made my intentions known that i would be seeking to do this again. Father Philip and I along with my wife sat and talked with some tea for awhile and I am starting with Mains in the morning

Pray for me on my journey.

I suspect that this trip will be much easier for me as i have stopped treating theology as a god. Thanks for all your prayers, and Christ has risen!

I remember UncleBud! I also remember many others who posted on this thread before me, actually most of them. There are some new names I don't remember seeing before. Haven't been posting much the last couple of years, but I read every now and then.

I have not lived a very Godily life, as nobody here has I am sure. But for years i was not a good father, husband, friend, son, citizen etc.... I hurt everyone I have ever known in one way or another. Too much to explain here but at this point right now, I want to live, but struggle.

Yes, sin hurts the ones we love. It does have a cosmic effect.

That is why we confess our sins before God and before the Priest who represents the entire Church.

Let us pray for each other, while we have time, that we may be saved.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of Thy Most Pure Mother and of all Thy Saints, have mercy on us and save us.
